Honor Flight #31

Cover 5 female veterans honor flight 31 sep 26 2017

Caspers Company was at the St. Pete/Clearwater Airport very early on September 26 with Honor Flight Mission 31 serving breakfast to those who have served and given so much more.

A veteran played “God Bless America” on his harmonica before leaving on the Honor Flight of West Central Florida trip to Washington, DC to visit the war memorials. There weren't very many dry eyes left after that performance!

On board were: Army = 30, Air Force = 12, Marines = 4, Navy = 27, Woman’s Army Corp = 2. Additional Veteran facts: WWII = 23, Korea = 46, Vietnam = 6. Also on board was their wonderful Honor Flight crew, Allegiant flight crew, and their reps.

The 75 World War II, Korean, and Vietnam Veterans returned to a "Welcome Home" celebration at the airport later that evening. That brings the total to 2408 veterans flown by West Central Honor Flight hub to date, and Caspers has served breakfast to each one!

Thank you to our Veterans!!
